Terms of Service

Welcome to BewerbMate (https://bewerbmate.com, the “Service”). By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who provides the Service

The Service is operated by BewerbMate (“we”, “us”). Contact email: juliandejob@yeah.net.

2. What the Service does

BewerbMate is an AI job search assistant for people looking for work in Germany. Its main features are:

  • recommending publicly posted job openings based on the job direction and preferences you choose, with a match assessment;
  • generating cover letters in English or German and resume suggestions, based on the job description and the background you provide;
  • recording and summarising your application status, and archiving job descriptions;
  • sending a daily job email at the time you choose.

We are not an employer, recruiter or employment agency. Job information comes from job postings published by third parties. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or still open, and we do not guarantee that you will get an interview or a job offer. Whether and how you apply is your decision.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and sign up with a valid email address of your own.
  • An account is for one person only. Do not share, transfer or sell your account.
  • Keep your login credentials safe. You are responsible for activity under your account; contact us immediately if you notice unauthorised use.

4. AI-generated content

Match scores, cover letters, resume suggestions and similar content are generated automatically by AI and may contain errors, inaccuracies or statements that do not fit your situation. Please review and edit this content before using or submitting it. You are responsible for the application documents you send to employers.

5. Trial, prices and payment

  • The scope and limits of the free trial are as shown on the website when you sign up.
  • Paid plans are priced in euros, as shown on the pricing page and the checkout page.
  • The monthly plan is a subscription that renews automatically every month. You can cancel it at any time; after cancelling, you keep access until the end of the current billing period and are not charged again. The quarterly and half-yearly plans are one-time purchases of membership for a fixed period and do not renew or charge you again when they end.
  • Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. The provider may act as the merchant of record that sells to you and issues the invoice, in which case its terms also apply to the transaction. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you must not:

  • resell or rent out the Service, or bulk-export job data or generated content for commercial use;
  • access the Service with crawlers, scripts or other automated means, or interfere with or circumvent its technical limits;
  • submit content you have no right to use, or other people’s personal data without their consent;
  • use the Service to create false or fraudulent application documents, or for any other unlawful purpose.

7. Your content

Your resume, background description and other content you submit remain yours. You allow us to process this content to the extent needed to provide the Service (for example, sending it to an AI model to produce matches and cover letters). How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The software, interface and branding of the Service belong to us or the respective rights holders. You are free to use the cover letters and suggestions generated for you in your own job search.

9. Changes and interruptions

We keep improving the Service and may add, change or remove features. The Service relies on third-party data sources and technical services and may be interrupted or delayed by maintenance, faults or third parties. We will give advance notice of changes that materially affect paid features to your disadvantage.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account via Help & feedback. If you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”. We make no promise about the outcome of your job search and are not liable for indirect losses or lost opportunities. Our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

These limits do not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to personal injury, or to any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. These Terms do not affect the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes on the website or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
